Succeed By Being Ready To Party
Having a booth at events and shows is a great way to find people who want our herbs. I also use it to meet people to invite to my Amazon Herb parties. Before I set up at an event or show I schedule at least two parties and have party invitations ready to hand out. That way I can invite interested people I meet and new customers to my party. I will say, “Do you like parties? We are having an herb party in two weeks.” Or “Would you like to attend a party?”
Label everything! Every brochure, flyer and CD you hand out, and every product you sell. Make it easy for people to get in touch with you when they’re ready to order or want to host a party.

Invite Yourself And Expand Your Network
I started making in-roads in my local community by inviting myself to local events, seminars, and conferences. I would call the event coordinator and offer to provide refreshments for their attendees at no cost (Rainforest Tea and Herbal Cocktails). I did this steadily for a year and now these event coordinators call me.
From this I have a network of alternative health care professionals who refer customers to me, weekly meetings with a weight-loss group, and on-going invitations to give herb classes and Rainforest presentations. I’m consistently in front of people in my local community, so they are getting to know me and remember me.
I chose events that will put me in front of quality people, where I’ll have little or no competition from vendors, and pay no booth fee.
It’s important to be helpful and friendly so the event coordinator wants you back again, and generous with the refreshments and Herb Bar you provide so the attendees appreciate you being there too.

Summertime is Party Time
July is one of my favorite months of the year. It seems like most of us have settled into the summer and are making time for get-togethers with friends and family. This week alone I’ve been invited to three different gatherings. Whenever it’s appropriate, and always when it’s a potluck, I provide an Herb Bar. (Maybe that’s why I’m invited to so many gatherings!) A direct result of sharing the herbs in my local community is more than forty loyal customers in my group, and many more occasional buyers.
And I’m finding it’s a great way to lay the groundwork for my up-coming Rainforest Spa parties. I’m letting my customers know that they can schedule me now, before my calendar is filled up, to host a Spa party in their home. Additionally, I’ll be hosting regular Spa Parties at my house too. My goal is to create a buzz around the Lluvia™ skin care products and the Rainforest Spa parties.

Report from Saarbruecken, Germany
The May event in Saarbruecken was a great opportunity for the people living in that area to see first hand what Amazon Herb Company is all about and to meet Amazon John and hear from him.
The city of Saarbruecken is located right at the French border and one hour from Luxembourg. The people who attended the event came from both Germany and France. The majority of guests already knew our products, so they were interested in the people behind the products. Building trust and connecting people to what we offer was our purpose with this event.
Gertrud Felder is the Gold Ambassador leader here, and she organized the event. Gertrud won Amazon Herb Co.’s “Live the Adventure” Rainforest trip 2005. We both just returned from our rainforest expedition and the highlands of Peru and have a lot to share with others. It really is a “trip of a life time.”
